  • If you're using a desktop computer, you'll need a monitor. For tablets, the device's screen serves as the display.

  • Perform initial tests to ensure that the hardware components (receipt printer, cash drawer, barcode scanner) are working correctly.

    Test the software to verify that it can process sales, print receipts, and open the cash drawer when required.

  • Once you are confident that the POS system is set up correctly and your staff is trained, you can start using it for real transactions.
